(More customer reviews)DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Despite the claims, this device is a generic USB charger, not a power adapter cord for your Garmin. Although I could use the device to recharge my Garmin 780 through the USB port, connection to the USB port renders the device useless as a GPS during the time it is being recharged, THEN you have to navigate on battery power. If I am lucky enough to be able to return this product, I expect I will be out shipping charges both ways. In any event, I now do not trust the information provided by CHARGERCITY, and so I expect never to do business with them again. Suggesting that the charger is a power adapter for a family of Garmin devices is grossly misleading and deceptive. If Garmin had a halfway decent on-line way to order a power corddirectly, I would never have risked what I thought was simply a secondary market device.

flat last winter I decided to invest in a battery maintainer.
The Schumacher SEM-1652A was the best compromise of price (around
$40 with shipping), features (a normal charging rate, and a
lower maintaining rate, with overcharge protection and indicator
lights), and small size (fits easily under the hood by the
master cylinder, battery wiring adaptor with quick connect makes installation and removal a snap.
I'd add a few extra crimp-on terminals of various ring sizes to the kit,
so different power connections with the wiring adaptor could be made
(my car has the battery mounted in the front fender well, I had to get
larger ring terminals to go on the remote jump starting terminals
under the hood.

Update: I bought a wattmeter to measure the power use of a fridge ( seemed to be running more than
normal, we replaced it with an energy star rated model ) so I hooked up the Schumacher maintainer
to the meter to see what it drew when it was trickle charging / maintaining. Charging was .25 amps or about
30 watts per hour, and maintaining was .11 amps or about 13 watts per hour. Pretty low energy use in my book.

After lightning struck a tree next to our house, our neighbors suffered several appliance failures, including a blown TV. Ours, including our computer survived (plugged into one of these). More amazingly, the outlet this was plugged into blew out of the wall, frying the protector, the TV lost its color for 3 days, but then popped back inand we are still using it. Our electrician says, he's never seen anything like it, but he's recommending this surge protector now.

When winter came along, however, the mount from my GPS would not stay attached to the Nav-Mat.The mount works fine on the window all year-round, but often fell off the Nav-Mat when it was cold outside.When driving in unchartered territory, you really don't want your GPS to fall onto the floor of your car.If you live in a region where temperatures drop, consider bringing the Nav-Mat with you so it is warm when you attach the mount, or be prepared to have the GPS unit pop off the Nav-Mat.I'm sure if I lived in California, I would have given the product 5 stars as well, as its performance when ambient temperatures are not freezing is perfect.

Battery Tender 021-0128 Battery Tender Plus 12V Battery Charger Review

(More customer reviews)Every time I want to fire up my old 71 Datsun (that's Nissan for those of you younger than 30) 240 Z there's a good chance that the battery has drained down and that I can't start it! Looking around at car forums I read about this nifty little gadget....It's like a battery trickle charger....sort of. Whereas it's not recommended to keep a trickle charger hooked up all the time, this one hascircuitry to limit the current and sense when the battery needs charging. It only charges at 1.25 amps which is easier on the battery.

I've had it on for a month now and it's great. The first couple of days, the red light was on indicating charging. Since then it's been on green and the car starts right up. I live in Houston where the heat and humidity can be just as brutal on batteries as the cold.

I highly recommend this "tender" for those that have cars that stay unused for long periods.

As other reviews have mentioned it comes with a set of adapters that allow you to permanently attach pigtails to the battery posts and then you can quickly connect the tender without having to use the alligator clips (also included).

For the price and free shipping you can't go wrong!

UPDATE after two years of use.
I can now reconfirm that these battery tenders work great - I've had them hooked up continuously on two cars that stay in the garage a lot and I've NEVER had them not start right up. A quick glance at the LED display lets me know that the batteries are either charging or fully charged. It's a real pleasure to be able to go right up and enjoy your wheels without having to worry about whether the battery is dead. I can't say for sure, but I suspect that it lengthens the life of the battery as well.

(More customer reviews)having recently purchased the director deck chair I found it to be sturdy and of good quality however, I recently received a similar chair which was much more inexpensive and had more features to it including a side pocket for magazines, etc in addition to the side table with cup holder. The quality was good if not better than the more expensive chair at Amazon. I was told it was purchased at Sam's.
I was also not too happy with the expensive shipping cost. $25.oo was in my opinion a little to high for shipping 1 chair.

(More customer reviews)We bought this for a recent camping trip to Florida.It was great!It is the right combination of lightweight and sturdy enough.The competing tables with connected seats are less comfortable, too small for our 6 foot adult bodies, and my dad's broke in a few uses.This is comfortable and have flexible use because the benches are not attached.It is easy to put up and doesn't pinch fingers.The kids can use it, and it is "husband proof" (for those of you with one who says "This broke" a lot.)

(More customer reviews)I picked up a set of these about 1 month ago since my car has been down I've been doing a few upgrades to the audio system, brakes, wheels and tires and other things. I bought these to replace my factory headrest that had 7 inch Gryphon monitors. these are huge compared to the 7 inch TVs which if fine for me cause playing 2 player video games on a 7 inch TV is a bit of a pain. they where easy to hook up took about an hour and a half. though my headunit or playstation wasn't hooked up at the time. once I got them re-hooked up the video quality was nice but lacking I would gladly pay more for better video quality.

pros: 11.2 inch screens, low price, easy install, wireless remotes.

cons: picture quality could be better, screens could be brighter for day use.

over all I'm very happy with my purchase and would by them again.
