(More customer reviews)It's Simple To use and the voice is clear as a bell.It lets you know if you're turning left or right ahead of time so you're prepared and when you get to the exact spot for the turn it beeps. And... If it's so hard to remember what direction was told to you a minute ago, there's a directional arrow at the bottom left which points in the turn of your direction.If you miss your turn the system reconfigures to where you are and will direct you from there.Again, I like it.

Cobra's GPSM Nav One 2500 is a specialized, portable navigation system designed for use in vehicles. Simply pick a destination via the easy-to-use touchscreen and you're on your way, as the Nav One 2500 automatically calculates the best route and gives you turn-by-turn directions (with voice and visual guidance) to your address or point of interest. The complete plug-and-go system also includes a cigarette lighter power cord and windshield suction-cup mounting bracket, letting you use it in any vehicle without performing an elaborate installation routine.
The Nav One 2500 features Cobra's iA.S.A.P. (Intelligent Accelerated Satellite Acquisition Protocol) technology, which takes advantage of 12 parallel channels for faster acquisition and uninterrupted satellite signal reception in urban canyons and dense foliage. And in places like tunnels and underpasses where satellite signals are traditionally lost, this handy GPS unit's nonmagnetic gyroscopic turn-rate sensor provides directional information to keep you on the map. Meanwhile, the easy-to-read 3.5-inch color display features an ultrabright backlit touchscreen and a photo sensor that automatically adjusts the display for day or night viewing. The features combine to offer superb readability even under bright, sunlit conditions and easy access to specific functions in any given mode.
A perfect traveling companion during your drive, the Nav One 2500 comes with a preloaded North America street-level detail map that covers the 48 contiguous U.S. states, plus Hawaii and the major metropolitan areas of Canada. The maps come already unlocked and ready to use, so you don't have to download anything from CDs or your PC. Also accompanying you on the ride are more than two million points of interest, which are searchable by business phone numbers; trip data functions such as an odometer, speedometer, and trip timer; and a trip planner that lets you preprogram up to 10 destinations per plan, for a total of five total plans. The unit even includes a trail mode so you can go off-roading and mark your favorite waypoints for future return.
For your convenience, this GPSM system includes English, Spanish, and French navigational voice languages and an automatic shutoff system that preserves battery power. The unit is backed by a one-year warranty on parts and labor
