These parts were well-built, arrived in two days with free shipping, and were easier to install than I had expected. The limited lifetime warranty on these Dorman regulators makes them an excellent choice, especially at this low price.

I was hesitant to try it 'cause I couldn't even figure out how to remove the door trim pad to have access for removal and re-installation of the regulator. There is a very good explanation of the procedure at Wikianswers.com/Q/How_do_you_install_a_new_window_regulator_on_a_drivers_door

(More customer reviews)I haven't had this thing for long but so far my experience has been wonderful. I had been using off-brand stereos up until I bought this and I was absolutely amazed at how much better the sound quality was after theyinstalled it.

Even in my old '91 Accord with stock speakers, this thing gets LOUD and the sounds is clear and crisp. The Equilizer is simple but effective and it's easy to change the custom setting without really even looking so you don't have to worry about driving unsafely.

The design is nice and solid and the detachable face plate actually houses all the controls so the stereo is useless when you take it with you (some off brands don't do this).

The knob is the volume control, not the radiotuner. I personally love for the knob to be volume so you can quickly turn it down if you get pulled over or something.

Overall I'm very happy with this stereo, the sound quality is absolutely amazing for the price. The fact that you can burn MP3 CDs and have as many as 300 songs per CD is a major plus. Added to that is the fact that it has a 3mm AUX Jack in the front so you can listen to ANY MP3 player or music device that also has a 3mm output via a male-to-male 3mm cable!(You can play iPods, Portable Cassette players, Portable CD Players, Portable DVD players etc.). Minus one star because the display has a very narrow angle of view in the daylight and since the whole thing has a 45 degree tolerance you may not be able to see it well in the daytime.

Couldn't give it 5 stars and here's why: I took it to an outside party, and didn't bring the external antenna that's included with the unit. I thought, "The Stiletto has an antenna built in and since I will be outdoors it shouldn't be a problem." Wrong. You MUST hook up the external antenna. I wish the unit had the capability of detecting that no external antenna is connected, and in that case, switching to the antenna that's integrated with the Stiletto. Not a big deal though, the lack of that feature would not have kept me from purchasing it.

(More customer reviews)I own a 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder.I recently changed the stock system to the Infinity Reference 6020CS component speaker with the Reference 475a amp and a nice Kenwood head unit.The new speakers sounded good, but lacked clarity below 80 Hz and trying to push the low end through them distorted the sound.I knew I needed a subwoofer, but since the Spyder has only two seats and almost no storage space, I had great difficulty finding one.

I bought this speaker because it was 8" and would match my main speaker since they are both Reference series.I had to build my own sealed enclosure due to the limited space available.I powered it with 150W from the 475a amp. Once connected the sub changed how my entire system worked and sounded.

I set the crossovers to 80 Hz and now the main speakers sing.I can't distort the system even when the volume is loud enough to hurt my ears.The sub adds a tight, punchy low end.I've heard bass lines that I never heard before in songs that I've listened to for years.

I expected that some of the sub-harmonic frequencies would not be handled as well since it is a small speaker.Typically 12" subs are used for booming bass.I was wrong.This sub handled them more than adequately.

If you are trying to rattle your windows, this speaker may do the job, but you should probably go with a larger one.If you want an accurate sonic reproduction with a fast response and clear, crisp bass, this is your speaker.My car now sounds better than most home systems.

(More customer reviews)I've owned several different brands of subs in my lifetime, including JL, RockfordFosgate, Alpine and more. I have also worked at several audio shops, so I've heard some good and some bad subs. I needed a single 10" for an install in a smaller car with a single box, I needed one with a focus on Sound Quality and could handle 300watts from my Alpine mono amp. I didn't want to spend much and Infinity has a fantastic reputation for speakers and subs, ie: Kappa and Perfect series.

After carefully reviewing some options from other companies, I chose this sub because it is a great value and is underrated in terms of power handling. It is of high build quality and more importantly sounds great. In a .75 cu foot box, it is crisp and clear on tight drum kicks but can still handle long and low notes from rap songs. It is a must for anyone looking at a good valued SQ sub. As with any speaker, it is all in the setup. Get the right box, provide a quality clean signal (good amp and head-unit) give it some time to break in, and TUNE your system. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase, especially with Amazon's low price and free shipping.

Kenwood DPX503 Dual-DIN USB/AAC/WMA/MP3 CD Receiver with External Media Control Review

I can't see the display in the daylight, or even very well at night.The multi-color display options are a joke without some sort of brightness settings.

Switching between input sources is awkward at best, and the cheap-feeling toggles (joy sticks) on the two main knobs are awful.I'm afraid they'll break soon.And while on the road, I'm always pressing, only to get the wrong outcome because of a bump or slop in the controls.

I also installed a Kenwood mated HD radio tuner, which works OK.But the facade presets are limited and all the buttons (on a double DIN) are way too small.I appreciate the large, multi-line text display (provided at the expense of bigger buttons), but because I can't read it, it's a waste of real estate.

Adjusting sound settings (treble/base/fader) are nearly impossible without stopping beside the road.Perhaps I listen to enough different streams that it's a problem for only me, but this is exasperating.Too much bass rumble in a talk track.Too little bass in a great song.

I have an iPod that I connect via USB.The "Kenwood" native controls are abysmal.I unplug the iPod to use its controls to make my iPod selections, then plug it back in to play.

Oh, as for tailoring the sound for one's cabin...It's a freaking car!How much stereo separation, signal to noise dampening, etc. should I expect over the road noise and less-than-optimal speaker placement?

I've shopped with this vendor for years, and have always received good advise and great service.Returning this (I should have) was a hassle because I'd have to tear out my dash again and give up the integrated HD and iPod cable.My sales rep didn't mention the dim display.If he had, I would have passed.Because I replaced a small-button single DIN Sony head mostly for ergonomic reasons.

Word of advice: check out units like this in a hands-on store and think about things beyond sound and watts!

(More customer reviews)It took me a long time to decide whether or not to buy this product since most of these converters/adapters have reviews stating that when they were used, sparks flew, there was a strong weird smell, or that it burned down the hotel.This product, at the time, only had the "piece of crap" review stating that you should buy a converter at your destination country (something which I think is a horrible idea.It took us a number of days just to find a battery operated clock in Ireland).I used this product in Ireland and Italy, and it worked great in both places, including both high and low wattage devices (i.e. curling iron and battery chargers).

Only once was there even a bit of an issue.One of the times I had it connected to a battery charger the converter seemed to get very hot.Because the batteries were done being charged by this point, I didn't leave it plugged in.As such, I still did not have any problems with this product.

If you do purchase any converter/adapter set for your travels abroad, you probably can't go wrong with this one.

(More customer reviews)The Roady XT has made some major improvements over the Roady2. First and foremost, artist names and song titles will now scroll if they are longer than 16 characters. Each will scroll twice at the beginning of a song. If you need the complete name/title further into the piece, the best way to trigger the scroll again is to to hit the "display" button five times. This takes you back to the same display mode you were using, and it will begin to scroll again within a few seconds.

The sports ticker is great also. I was able to set it up for every NFL team, so there doesn't appear to be any limit on its size. It's not instantaneous, however; it takes about 2-3 minutes for an actual change in the score to be reflected in the ticker.

There is also a "Jump" button which allows you to flip to the previous channel.

The "Tuneselect" feature now allows you to search for songs not only by the song title, but by the artist name as well. This is accessed through the menu screen. You do, however, have to pick one or the other.

Another big plus: The Roady XT now gives you access to virtually the entire FM spectrum (88.1-107.9) if you want to listen via the FM modulator. The "Jump" button also comes into play here as well. If you hold it in for a few seconds, it will bring up a screen showing the last 6 FM frequencies you used. You can then use the arrow buttons to go to the one you want, then hit "Select." And by setting your in-dash radio's presets to the corresponding FM frequencies, it makes it much easier to adjust the modulator if you start running into interference as you drive.

Tip: The XM antenna also serves as the FM transmitter. If possible, place it close to your regular car antenna.

It does it's job and everything I expected it to do! I traveled out of state during the holidays (holidays=many cops) and it saved my butt 3 times on the way there, and 2 times on the way back. It already has paid for itself and then some! Not to mention the two times it saved me this morning on my way to work! The only thing I was worried about when purchasing a detector was, would it give me enough time to slow down, the answer is YES. By the time I brake to the desired speed limit, I look around for a few seconds, then when I think it is a false alarm, there's the cop. Overall, great purchase and worth every cent!

(More customer reviews)I think I may have found the first hands free device for the BlackBerry... (I'm sure it's not the first, but I sure as heck cound't find one anywhere else). NY's finest love giving new "hands free" tickets for talking on your cell phone. I can finally remove this silly bluetooth headset and talks hands free with my BB!

Sound quality is pretty good compared to what I've heard on other FM transmitters. It's not as good as the quality I've heard with friends who have line-in plugs for their Iphones, but accptable nonetheless. No static, yet.

Setup is easy. Plug it in to the 12v outlet and tune the radio station to match what you set on the connector dock. My buddy had to give me a hand with the programming, but it wasn't really that hard. It would be nice if somehow there were less cables floating around the device! but I'm content with the fact it allows me to talk hands free and it even charges too! Maybe now I can try Pandora again? I tried it earlier, but it ate too much battery. I can follow up with the results soon.
