(More customer reviews)I am using this quad beam transducer on a Humminbird 787-c2. The unit does not have much range in the quad beam mode. Also another problem is when you select Quadbeam you get the top display of the other transducers and the bottom half shows left and right quad beam but "NO GPS".
When I am trying to find a wreck I need the GPS also. I think I will put it up for auction. It is hardly used.I wish I had bought a 900 series Humminbird with the side scanning transducer.Patrick

The Humminbird XNT 9 QB 90 Transom Mount Transducer is a high-speed transducer designed to mount on the transom, or back, of the boat, in contact with the surface of the water, and operate in conjunction with a compatible Humminbird sonar or fish finder system. This unit is a QuadraBeam transducer that features 20-, 60- and 90-degree cone angles operating on 200 kHz, 83 kHx and 455 kHz frequencies respectively.
The XNT 9 QB 90 includes a built-in temperature sensor, a 20-foot cable, and all the necessary high-speed hardware to get up and running right away. Although this unit has the same hole pattern as some older-version transducers, it utilizes a new design that is more secure and less prone to kick up at the high force of waves, as well as having an improved running angle, and an optional lock-down screw to override the kick up. The Humminbird XNT 9 QB 90 transducer is specifically designed for use with Humminbird's; 300TX, 400TX, Wide Optic, Wide Portrait, Wide Panorama, Wide Paramount, FF575, Matrix 37, Matrix67, Matrix 87c. Matrix 97, 737, 767, 787c, 787c2i, 917c, 957c, 997c, PiranhaMax 240 sonar devices and fish finders. This transducer is backed by Humminbird's one-year limited warranty.
